Granting of New and Renewal of Existing Business Permits

All Business are required to secure a Business License and Mayor’s Permit prior to operate a new business or to continue operating an existing business.  To facilitate the renewal of business permits, at One-stop-Shop located at 2nd floor, City Hall. If requirements are complete, the transaction can normally be completed in one (1) working day.

WHO MUST AVAIL OF THE SERVICE?
Citizens doing business or plan to do business within the city.

3. Barangay Business Clearance (site of business) Barangay Hall
4. Certificate of Occupancy (New) / Certificate of Annual Safety Inspection (Renewal) (Public Market vendors are exempted) City Engineer’s Office
5. Food Handler’s Certificate and/or Sanitary Permit (business engaged in food service and/or processing) City Health Office
6. Market Clearance for the Renewal of Business Permits and Licenses (Public Market vendors) City Economic Enterprise Office
7. Pest Control Clearance City Veterinary Office
8. Preliminary Zoning Clearance City Planning and Development Office
9. Certificate of Fire Safety Inspection Dumaguete Fire Station
10. DTI Clearance / Business Name Certificate of Registration Department of Trade and Industry
11. SSS Clearance Social Security System
12. BIR (R-VAT) Clearance Bureau of Internal Revenue
13. Phil Health Clearance Philippine Health Insurance
